I grew up around a landscaping business. When you’re that close to it, you see beauty differently. You see the care it takes. You also see how quickly it fades. This painting holds both. The flower isn’t the focus. It’s only an outline. Nearly lost in everything around it. Beauty is still there. Just not at the center.
